Andrea has requested a photo of Devon when she was born. We don't actually have any photos of her when she was born because we didn't actually think she was coming out, so we didn't bring a camera to the hospital. You'll recall that she was seven weeks early. So, I've found a photo of her when she was about a week old. This is soon after she was allowed to leave the incubator, and soon after they removed her feeding tube. I like this photo because it shows three generations of hands: Devon's; mine; and my Mom's. It also gives you an idea of how teeny weeny Devon was. I think she was about four pounds at this point.
