It's official. I am the proud producer of sleepy kids. Simon has been sleeping through the night (8pm to 6am) since he was two months old. How good is that? Of course, he doesn't sleep much during the day, but whatever. When I need a break, I just take him for a walk. I've been reading like crazy, so a lot of our walks involve going to the local library to pick up books that I've requested.

Went to my first ever playgroup the other day. I never did hook up with a playgroup when Devon was little, and now I'm sorry I missed out. It's nice to get together for a chat with a bunch of adults (while the rug rats run around). I found out about this playgroup through someone I met on Ottawa Freecycle, but it turns out that the hostess was someone I went to high school with, and one of the other guests is someone I do a cookie exchange with every Christmas. Playgroups...cookie exchanges...I'm destined to be a PTA Mom!

No big plans for the weekend. I'm getting my haircut. You know what's funny? Both when I was home with Devon, and now with Simon, I've had the tremendous urge to dye my hair a different colour. I think it's a product of too much thought about how dowdy I feel being a stay-at-home Mom. I barely have time for a shower each day, my clothes are covered in spit-up, and most everything is still slightly too small to fit me. Ugh. Colour suggestions are welcome, so please drop me a line.
