Second, due to the aforementioned crash, it might be a little while before I get photos up. I just realized I'll have to reinstall Dreamweaver, then recreate the photos site before I can post anything. In the meantime, I've at least started scanning.
I bought new glasses today. Knowing that they're something I'll where everyday, and that they can totally transform a face, it wasn't an easy decision to make. Luckily I had my personal consultant, Jeff, with me. I decided on some funky frames in iridescent lavendar. Unfortunately, they won't be ready until Monday, so I will have to be funky-free all weekend long.
At this point, I should admit that the reason I need new glasses is that, while in Toronto last week, I flopped on my hotel bed to read something...and flopped right onto my glasses which I had laid on the bed a little earlier. SNAP!
In other exciting news, we're in the midst of painting our bedroom. It's pretty dramatic. We chose the colour stadium red. It's a deep red with a hint of fuschia in it. Quite a change from the hospital corridor green that we're used to. However, it looks fantastic with the beautiful quilt that Jane made us for our wedding. I'm thinking it will either add more passion to our relationship, or make us have angry dreams. Anyone willing to place a bet?
