Call me crazy, but I think I'm going to apply to the school of architecture at Carleton. Does anyone from my office ready this? They'll definitely think I'm nuts. However, it's been a dream of mine for a long time. I think I'll at least explore it.

I can just picture the reaction to this. I think Jeff is the only one (maybe I've mentioned it to Andrea?) who knows of this secret dream.

I'm definitely crazy. But, on the other hand, who hasn't wanted to just take a chance and follow their heart?

Signed,

Leah "awaiting the reaction" Eustace

P.S. Yes, there are work issues that are contributing to this!

Another movie folks. This one is smaller (2 meg) and you still need Quicktime to view it.

***DEVON'S GIFT****

Devon did just fine at daycare. She had a nice long nap, and only cried a little bit when she woke up. I'm sure she was just confused. Other than that, she ate well, played well and was a perfect little angel. She's been exhausted since she got home and a little cranky. She had another long nap, but I think she's just tired out from all the stimulation of the day.

Today was a historic day in the life of the Eustace family. Devon is at daycare for the first time. I was in charge of dropping her off. I felt my self getting weepy on the way over, but it really wasn't too bad at all. Anne met me at the door (she'd seen me coming through the window), took Devon and all her stuff and that's the last time Devon even looked at me. Instead she was focused on all her little male admirers gathered at her feet. They all had huge smiles on their faces and Anne said they'd been asking 'when is Devon coming? when is Devon coming.' So, our parting was uneventful. Devon was very preoccupied.

Jeff will go and pick her up at 12:30pm, so I'm anxious to get a report from him. I hope she didn't cry and I hope she agreed to have a nap. Well, I'm sure she'll be fine.
