We found daycare! What a relief. I've been completely stressed out about this for months, especially since I've been back to work. I had been getting bad headaches everyday at work. At first I thought it was just the adjustment in terms of workload, but as soon as we firmed things up on Sunday night, no more headaches.

Anyway, this woman seems great. She's just a few blocks from home, she has been doing daycare for 25 years, and she got rave reviews from her references. The clincher was that one of her references turned out to work with my Mom, so we felt we got a really honest assessment of things.

In other news, Devon continues to increase her language skills. She's pointing to things when we say "where is..." and continues to say "hi" to everybody and everything. Last weekend we went to the Rideau Centre and she waved and said 'hi' to everyone as we pushed her stroller around. It was pretty funny. Jeff's been taking her for walks with the backback and he says that Devon has surprised a number of people by yelling 'hi' when they don't realize there's a baby back there.

Well, I should get some work done!
