I know, I know, it's been a while. I've been sick all week and feeling like hell. I had a bad cold that has now aggravated my asthma and I've been coughing non-stop for two days. Can't sleep, can't have a conversation without hacking...it's making me insane. I'm going to the doctor tonight and hopefully they'll give me some steroids to get rid of it. Seriously, steroids really do get rid of the cough...maybe they'll pump me up too!

I just had a lovely long lunch with my friend Christiane who is here for a week from France where she's living now. I've known Christians since grade 4 so she's one of my oldest friends. I don't get to see nearly as much of her as I'd like, but when we do get together we manage to get caught up pretty quickly.

I've also been spending time with my aunt, uncle and cousins who are in town for the weekend from Invermere. I tell you, when the Gamble clan gets together, it's non-stop fun...lots of drinking too.

Well, gotta run. The next clan gathering beckons. Happy thanksgiving everyone!
